SNOW figures are starting to pop up all over Otley - despite the lack of wintry weather.
This year’s Otley Snowman Trail, which sees snow figures created out of all kinds of material positioned around town, will be launched at the Buttercross on Saturday, November 30.
The event, which is free to enter with donations going to children’s charity Hang on to a Dream, encourages people to contribute to, or follow, a trail which includes local businesses and homes.
It is supported by a free booklet which includes a Christmas story, a festive word search and a page for drawing a snow person on, with a prize up for grabs for the best drawing.
The trail was founded by Town Councillor Nigel Francis, who chairs Hang on to a Dream, and runs until Sunday, December 22. Free booklets can be picked up from the Buttercross on Saturday or from local businesses including Otley Core, Chevin Health Store, Otley Library, and Rafferty’s Café.
