A HORSE has been rescued by firefighters after it got stuck in a feeder.
The three-year-old got its legs and head trapped in the feeder in a field at East Carlton, near Yeadon.
Firefighters on the technical rescue team at Cleckheaton were called to the incident at 10.20am today.
A vet sedated the horse and then the crew cut into the feeder around the animal's legs.
They then tried a few techniques to get the horse to stand and a lifting beam once it had been freed without success.
After leaving the horse to recover for a while they tried again and finally succeeded after a two-hour operation.
