YEADON Town Hall is launching its new Christmas Tavern.

The venue’s theatre bar has been transformed into “a magical winter wonderland” and guests are invited to step inside on selected dates throughout December to enjoy a festive treat or two. The bar will also be open for shows and events - ranging in December from tribute artists through to the Christmas Spectacular.

The Christmas Tavern will serve mince pies and mulled wine, steins of beer and a choice of draught lager and local ales. There will also be wine, fizz and a range of gin and tonics.

The festive bar is family-friendly - and people are being invited to bring their children along to experience the magic of Christmas at the Town Hall.

Yeadon Town Hall was officially put back into the hands of the local community in April this year.

The landmark building, which dates back nearly 140 years, will now be managed by the Yeadon Town Hall Community Interest Company CIC - which is aiming to return it to its former glory.

Businessman and theatre impresario Jamie Hudson and the chairman of the Yeadon Town Hall Users Group, Jenny Thackur, teamed up with local councillors and residents to form the CIC. The company has been granted a 50 year lease of the building from Leeds City Council.
