STAFF and students from Leeds Trinity University will sleep out at Headingley Stadium to raise money for charity.

They will join Leeds Rhinos rugby players and people from around the city for the 2019 Leeds Big Sleep.

The event, on November 28, will raise money for St Gemma’s Hospice, St George’s Crypt, and the Leeds Rhinos Foundation.

Mia McHugh, Lay Chaplain at the university, said: “By participating in the Leeds Big Sleep we are raising awareness and raising money for three wonderful charities. Yes, it will be cold; yes, we’ll be tired on the Friday; but we will also have a great time, whilst doing something so worthwhile.”

Ten people from Leeds Trinity are taking part so far, and the university would like more staff, students and former students to join in. Email Chaplaincyadmin@leedstrinity.ac.uk to take part or visit https://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/LTUChaplaincy to donate.
