POOL-IN-WHARFEDALE residents are being urged to comment on the village’s Neighbourhood Plan - while they still can.
Pool Parish Council and the Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group have been working on the document, which will shape future development in the area, for six years.
A final, statutory public consultation has been running since early September and will end at 5pm on Friday, October 18.
After that the proposals will be updated and then submitted to Leeds City Council for an independent examination before being put to a local referendum.
The Neighbourhood Plan can be found at www.poolparishcouncil.gov.uk where a questionnaire can be completed, while hard copies are available at Pool Post Office and General Store and Otley Library. Paper versions of the questionnaire should be returned to the PO or dropped off at Old Pool Bank Village Hall before the deadline.
