TICKETS are selling fast for this year’s Otley Science Festival.
The event runs from Monday, November 11 to Saturday, November 16 and will include talks and presentations by experts in their field. Many of the attractions, however, are booking up quickly.
Dr Sue Bowler, one of the festival’s organisers, said: “We have some great speakers covering everything from plants to physics. On Saturday, November 16 for example writer and botanist James Wong will be discussing whether the nutritional content of our food has changed.
“Or, if the deep oceans are more your thing on Tuesday, November 12 Greg Foot is talking about about Deep Ocean Lab, his underwater adventures in submersibles.
“Tickets are selling fast for all our speakers with CBeebies superstar Maddie Moate’s show on November 11 already sold out.” Tickets can be booked by visiting www.otleycourthouse.org.uk or calling (01943) 467466.
