WHARFEDALE, Horsforth and Aireborough residents are being invited to join a fundraising walk for a local hospice.

Hundreds of people are set to don neon clothes and sparkly lights when they take part in Sue Ryder Wheatfields Hospice’s Starlight Hike on Saturday, October 19.

The event starts at 7pm from Leeds Beckett Headingley campus with two routes around Headingley and Adel, one 10km and the other 5km long, available to follow.

Both routes will pass through the grounds of Wheatfields Hospice itself where walkers can remember loved ones by leaving a message in the Starlight Garden.
