A SUCCESSFUL Yorkshire author will be sharing some top tips in Otley next week.
Jane Browne, who writes under the name J A Browne, will publish the second novel in her Earth Chronicles trilogy, Gaia’s Revenge, later this year.
Jane will be giving some expert advice on editing when she addresses a meeting that has been organised by the Otley Bards writers’ group on Thursday, August 15.
The event takes place at the Horse and Farrier pub, on Bridge Street, and runs from 7pm to 9pm.
Entry is free and all local writers, whether published or not, are welcome .
For more details about the meeting and talk contact Peter Loweth on (01756) 711129.
Jane Browne’s first book, Hannah and the Hollow Tree - part one of the Earth Chronicles, which are described as fantasy stories for children - is about a teenage girl who gets caught up in a desperate bid to save ‘Gaia, Mother of All Nature’.
It has been well received by readers of all ages.
