LOVE Brownies, launched in 2009 by husband and wife team Lee and Chantal Teal, has grown from a small online gifting business to a rapidly expanding chain of cafés and brownie shops across the UK.

Celebrating its tenth birthday in July, their latest venture sees them combine a new bakery, which supplies their increasing number of franchises, with a café.

Based in Barden, close to Bolton Abbey, visitors will be able to enjoy breakfast, lunch, healthy smoothies, indulgent milkshakes, freshly roasted coffee and their award-winning chocolate brownies in a variety of flavours. All of the brownies are gluten-free, including an extensive vegan range.

In addition to the Brownie Barn, Love Brownies in Ilkley will relaunch on the same day following a refurbishment. With additional seating and an expanded menu, this was the first of the Love Brownies venues – opening in 2016. Co-founder and head baker Chantal Teal said: “The last ten years has simply flown by and it’s great to be celebrating our birthday with such an exciting next step in our journey.

“The Barn has a sizeable kitchen which will enable us to make many more of our unique, hand-made brownies for our cafes and shops, as well as adding a great venue to such a beautiful area. We can’t wait to welcome you!”

Proud of their Yorkshire roots, all ingredients possible are sourced from Yorkshire suppliers - Yockenthwaite muesli and honey from Hive & Keeper are just two examples.

A range of gifts is available in all of their stores.

Sharing a little bit of Yorkshire with the rest of the UK, you can also find Love Brownies in West Kirby near Liverpool and Islington and Southgate in North London. This is coupled with openings in Harrogate and Stirling over the next month.

The Brownie Barn opens its doors on Saturday, July 13 and will be open seven days a week.
