AN outdoor activity centre at Yeadon is inviting everyone to have a go at sailing this weekend.
One hour sessions will be available from Leeds Sailing and Activity Centre’s base at Yeadon Tarn on Saturday, June 29.
Costing £5 each, there will be sessions for eight to 16 year olds offered from 9am to 10am and then two further sessions for adults - from 10.15am to 11.15am and from 11.30am to 12.30pm.
The event is part of the Royal Yachting Association’s national Try Sailing in Summer campaign.
Stephen Squires from the Leeds centre said: “We’re a friendly, relaxed centre on a pleasant, sheltered lake.
“We have some very experienced instructors keen to make sure you enjoy your visit - and at an unbeatable price, making us the perfect choice for a first-time sail.”
