CROSSFLATTS Village may have hit the headlines in the Bradford Sunday Alliance for winning the Premier Division title but Mill Lane had just as much to shout about further down the divisions.
Having won promotion from Division Three in their first full campaign in 2017-18, Lane swept all before them to do the double this season in Division Two.
The West Bowling-based side enjoyed the best points per game ratio across the five divisions of the Alliance, winning 20 out of 22 games and scoring an impressive 131 goals.
Their only defeat was a 3-1 loss to nearest rivals Eccleshill Lane Ends, who finished runners-up six points behind them.
Mill Lane, who thanked their sponsors Euro Taxis, SKN Scaffolding and Debra Jowett, gained revenge for that by beating Eccleshill 2-1 in the final of the Intermediate Cup at Manningham Mills to clinch the double.
