CLAYTON made the most of home advantage to win the Bradford Union Nine-Hole Golf Clubs Championship.

The hosts (321) triumphed by four shots from runners-up Bradford Moor (325), while third-placed Ghyll were a further nine shots back on 334.

Chris Foster led the way for Clayton with a round of 77, with Andy Crow (80), current Bradford Union president Jimmy Sidney (82) and Adam Charles (82) the other scorers to count.

Former Bradford Union captain Martin Gaffney earned the top gross score with 76, playing for South Bradford, while Bradford Moor's Paul Sutcliffe posted the top nett round of 71.
