THE SECRETS that dirty teeth can tell about times gone by will be one of the subjects at the next Otley Science Cafe.

The event takes place at the Courthouse on Thursday, June 13 and will feature three 15 minute presentations from guest speakers. The audience will also be invited to put questions to each speaker afterwards.

Dr Anita Radini from the University of York’s Archaeology department will discuss What Can Dirty Teeth Tell Us About The Past.

Dr Martin Barwood meanwhile, from the School of Social and Health Sciences at Leeds Trinity University, has Drowning: How Science Can Help Us Avoid It as his topic.

And Andy Thomas, from Aprexo Ltd and Codel Ltd, will talk about Blockchain - What’s All The Fuss About?
