WEST Bowling maintained second spot in National Conference League Division Two with another fine comeback.

Having overturned an 18-point deficit in beating Hull Dockers the previous week, the Bradford side came from behind again in their 28-24 win at Crosfields.

They found themselves 16-4 and 24-10 down at their mid-table hosts but dug deep again to claim their fourth win on the spin.

Tries from Jack Milburn and Nat Light cut the gap to just 24-22 in the second half before Richard Lumb went over for the match-winning score.

Harry Williams and Milburn had touched down earlier, with Williams converting four of the five tries, while Oliver Bartle was crowned man of the match.

Meanwhile, rivals Bradford Dudley Hill remain just a point behind - though having played a game more - after they won 27-24 at East Leeds.

In Yorkshire Men's League, Birkenshaw Bluedogs lost 40-10 at home to Birstall Victoria.

It means they are still without a point after losing their opening four games in Division Three.

But Wyke Academy moved up to fourth in Division Four after a 28-22 win at home to Leeds Akkies.
