AN EXHIBITION celebrating Prince Henry’s Grammar School’s last century will be held next month.

The event, part of of celebrations to mark 100 years of the school being based at Farnley Lane, takes place on Saturday, June 29 and is free.

The exhibition, featuring old photographs and stories from past students, will be open to the public from 10am to 2pm.

Assistant Headteacher Stephen Clarkson said: “Our search for our previous Kerr Scholars has proved fruitful with alumni from as far back as the 1940s, and as far afield as Australia and Canada, getting in touch. We have also enjoyed the help of Graham Shutt, who taught at school for many years, and Otley Museum. There will be memories from past hobby shows Prince Henry’s during the war, stories from past students, ad hoc tours and more!”

The exhibition will be held in the Main Hall.
