OTLEY residents are being asked to suggest subjects for new community education classes.
Prince Henry’s Grammar School welcomes about 700 evening class students from the local area each year.
Its community education programme includes courses in everything from novel writing and yoga to flower arranging and art history. The school also offers a number of modern language classes including in German, French, Spanish, Italian and Turkish.
Assistant Headteacher: Learning Community, Christopher Lillington, said: “We run the programme as a resource for the local community and some of our most successful courses have come about from suggestions from local people.
“If we can employ a tutor and find enough students to pay for that tutor, we are happy to run courses in just about any discipline!” To put forward an idea contact Pippa McPherson by sending an e-mail to info@princehenrys.co.uk, or call (01943) 463524, before Friday, May 31.
