A CLUB which was set up for older people in Yeadon is looking to recruit new members.
The Yeadon Senior Citizens dominoes club was formed as a way of allowing older people to get together.
The club meets at Yeadon Town Hall every Thursday from 1.30pm to 3.30pm. People attending sessions will be able to enjoy musical movement, dominoes, tea and biscuits, bingo and a raffle.
The club also organises trips to various location and each year it supports a charity nominated by the members, making a donation of about £1,000 to each.
Members are charged an annual subscription of £5 and are also asked to pay £2 per week.
A spokeswoman invited local people to try out the club.
She said: “We are looking for new members. We would like anyone to come and join us.”
Over the years the club has supported a number of charities including Help for Heroes and Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
