SALTAIRE celebrated its UNESCO World Heritage status in style for this year’s World Heritage Day with a special sundowner event.
Roberts Park came to life on Saturday for the event, which included a craft and food market and an Easter egg hunt in the park.
Saltaire Shakespeare entertained with a series of comedy mash-ups, while the bandstand played host to the Guiseley Jazz Band.
There was also music from the Keighley-based Jamba Samba.
The grand finale of the evening was a mesmerising lantern parade by local community arts group Cecil Green Arts, as captured by Telegraph & Argus camera club member Graham Keegan.
The event was organised by the Bradford Council’s Parks Department, the Friends of Roberts Park, and Cecil Green Arts.
Saltaire was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2001, when it was recognised for its international influence on town planning. It was also considered to be an outstanding example of a mid-nineteenth century model town.
