STEETON Male Voice Choir are performing a concert on Saturday, April 13 to raise funds for a pedestrian footbridge over the River Wharfe in Burley-in-Wharfedale. They will be singing at St. Mary’s Parish Church in aid of the Burley Bridge Association. Door are open from 7pm and the concert starts at 7.30pm. The choir, with Musical Director Mrs Catherine Sweet, will perform a mixture of male voice standards, show songs, arrangements of well-known modern songs, and some folk standards.

Tickets cost £10 and are available from the Coffee Station in Burley, and Just Books in Ilkley and Otley. They can also be purchased on line at ticketsource.co.uk/burley-bridge-association.

David Asher, secretary of the Burley Bridge Association, said: “This will be the first of four fundraising concerts we are holding this year, as we step up a gear to raise money for the next stage in the bridge project. All money raised from the evening will go towards the final design and development work for the bridge, construction and maintenance costs.”
