A REOPENING date has been announced for Otley Library.
The Nelson Street building has been closed since early December while refurbishment work has been carried out.
The scheme has involved revamping the children’s library, adding a new toilet, and repairing the heating system.
Extra computers, for public use, have also been fitted and improvements have been made to the facilities at the One Stop Centre.
Leeds City Council has confirmed that the library - a temporary replacement has been operating from Cross Green during the refurbishment - will reopen on Tuesday, April 23.
Local councillors have also been pushing for solar panels to be fitted to the property’s roof - an option which the city council has agreed to explore.
