MASTER Baker Mike Armstrong, who used to run the village bakery in Addingham, recently entertained members of the Wednesday Club there with a demonstration of Easter bread-making.
In the space of just over an hour he prepared six different breads including a show-stopping Greek nest bread, two different versions of hot cross bun and a very quick and simple soda bread, which he was keen to encourage people to have a go at making their own as a cheaper and healthier alternative to bought bread.
Afterwards the results of his work were shared amongst the audience and pronounced delicious!
