ILKLEY Round Table has made a donation to the annual Ilkley and District Good Neighbours Over 90s Party.
Now in its 31st year it is for residents of Addingham, Burley-In-Wharfedale, Ilkley, and Menston who are aged 90 and over.
The first party took place in 1989 and the annual event is unique in that it is the only party in the Bradford district for residents aged 90 and over
This year’s party will be held on Saturday, September 28 from 2pm to 4pm, at the Clarke Foley Centre in Ilkley who donate the rooms.
The party includes a vintage afternoon tea with bucks fizz with entertainment from a variety of people, ending with community singing.
Guests will be picked up from home and returned by mini buses. There will be a table of local and county dignitaries, who will circulate with the guests before and during the party.
The party is staffed by volunteers, including students from Ilkley Grammar School and the Air Cadets.
