SCHOOLCHILDREN in Horsforth are celebrating receiving some brand new books.
The town’s Morrisons store donated a selection of titles to Horsforth Newlaithes Primary School to mark World Book Day on Thursday, March 7. The books were given thanks to a partnership* between the Morrisons Foundation and the National Literacy Trust.
They were presented to the school’s library club by Community Champion at Morrisons Horsforth, Sarah Marston.
She said: “I am delighted to be donating these new books to a local school. There’s a great selection and I hope that every pupil will be able to find a story that they will enjoy.”
