A FILM, a talk and a shared lunch will help Otley mark International Women’s Day 2019.
Otley Women Together - supported by Otley Town Council, Otley Courthouse, Otley Film Society and Otley Labour Party - has organised several activities to celebrate the occasion. Even When I Fall - the story of Nepal’s first circus - will be shown at Otley Courthouse on Thursday, March 7. Tickets cost £5 and will be available on the door.
A Bring and Share Lunch will be held at Otley Labour Rooms from noon on Friday, March 8 and feature a talk on Giving Women the Choice - Period. The lunch is free with a baked potato provided - for more details send an e-mail to: Judith.wilson1953@gmail.com .
On Friday, March 15 poet Kate Fox will present Where There’s Muck There’s Bras at the Courthouse. Starting at 7.30pm, the talk costs £12 and will be preceded by a 2pm to 3.30pm afternoon writers’ workshop, which costs £5.
