GUIDE Dogs is seeking more volunteers in Wharfedale and Aireborough.
The charity, which helps people with sight loss live independent lives, relies on volunteers for everything from collecting donations to puppy walking.
Its Otley and Aireborough Support Group needs general fundraisers to support its events for the year ahead, but there are also opportunities for drivers and sighted guides.
Volunteering Consultant for Guide Dogs Leeds, Ruth Wood, said: “You don’t have to be a dog lover - we have a wide range of roles to suit everyone. By volunteering you’ll be helping to make a huge difference to the lives of people with sight loss and be part of a great team.”
Role specific training is provided and all out-of-pocket expenses are paid. For more details visit www.guidedogs.org.uk/volunteer or contact Ruth Wood at ruth.wood@guidedogs.org.uk / 0345 1430210.
