A POPULAR children’s theatre day is to take centre-stage in Keighley again.
The event will feature singing and dancing workshops themed around movies and musicals such as The Greatest Showman, Aladdin and Oliver!
Sessions – led by performing arts school, Stage 84 – will take place in the Airedale Shopping Centre on Saturday (Jan 26), between 11am and 4pm.
Ten sets of workshops will give youngsters a taste of what is offered by Stage 84, and there will be a chance to sign-up for classes.
Paul Howard – manager of Keighley BID, which is co-organising the event with Stage 84 – said: “The theatre day gets more popular every year. We’ve got some great ideas that we think both the children and parents will love.”
The event will also see Keighley College students demonstrate theatre make-up, and there will be free balloons and giveaways.
