Burley in Wharfedale Library opened its doors on Christmas Day to serve drinks and festive treats to people who might otherwise have been alone.
Buck’s Fizz, cake and mince pies were among the goodies available for visitors.
Organisers Rachael Robinson and Niccola Swann said: “One gentleman said that he’d normally have spent the day alone and was just happy to sit listening to the music and chatter all around him.
“Thank you to all the volunteers who gave up their time to come along and help set up and run the day and to all the individuals and businesses who donated treats, table cloths, paper plates, tea, coffee, everything - without all the help, this wouldn’t happen.
