SOME of Pool-in-Wharfedale’s youngest citizens have been out spreading festive cheer.
Children from Pool Pre-School Group visited Wharfedale Court recently to act out the story of Dear Santa and sing Christmas carols for residents.
Some parents also attended the event at the sheltered housing complex. One said: “It was so lovely, I was moved to tears!.”
Pre-school Manager Vikky Campbell said: “The children were all very excited about visiting Wharfedale Court to sing their Christmas songs.
“It was wonderful to see the joy on everyone’s faces.”
Wharfedale Court warden Dawn Attwood added: “We hope to continue to work closely with Vikky and the team at Pool Pre-School, and have already discussed holding a Teddy bears’ picnic in the springtime.”
