SHERLOCK Holmes will visit Otley next month to solve a festive mystery.
The famous detective has inspired a new play by Otley Players, Sherlock Holmes and the Christmas Conundrum, which will be performed at the Courthouse on Sunday, December 2.
The theatre group is describing the work, which was written by one of its members, as ‘an hour of comedy and melodrama that is suitable for all the family’.
A spokeswoman added: “Who stole the pudding? Come on down and find out at Otley Courthouse.”
There will be two performances on December 2 (when Otley will also be enjoying this year’s Victorian Fayre) - at 3pm and 5pm.
Tickets cost £6 or £4 and will be available on the door. They can also be bought in advance from the box office on (01943) 467466.
