AN ETHICAL clothing brand started by a Wharfedale business graduate is teaming up with a local charity.
Over the next three months The Care Manifesto will be donating its profits to the Yorkshire Children's Trust.
The business's founder, former Ilkley Grammar School student Patrick Godden, describes The Care Manifesto as 'a fledgeling clothing brand that produces ethical fashion'.
Since launching in the spring it been supporting the BiCNet charity in Uganda.
Announcing its new partnership on www.caremanifesto.com, Mr Godden said: "We’re super proud to announce that for the next three months we’ll be supporting the Yorkshire Children’s Trust.
"The Trust was founded by two sets of parents after their daughters were diagnosed with leukaemia.
"Since 2011, the charity has set out to help children and their families cope with the emotional and financial strain of many life-changing illnesses, something the founders of the charity understand after dealing with cancer.
"Until the end of the year we’ll be supporting the amazing work carried out by the trust by donating all of our profits to the trust."
