MORE details about Leeds Bradford Airport's redevelopment plans will be given at an event in Bramhope this month.

The airport (LBA) is holding a public consultation in the Bramhope Suite of the Britannia Hotel, on Leeds Road, from 3.30pm to 8.30pm on Thursday, September 27.

Information about LBA's proposals for a new Arrivals Hall, including new departure gates and improved immigration handling capacity and baggage reclaim facilities, will be provided.

The proposal is in line with the airport's Route to 2030 Strategic Development Plan - published in March, 2017 - and is intended to provide capacity for up to five million passengers per year, compared to the current four million.

Members of LBA's senior management and design teams will be at the Bramhope consultation which members of the public are encouraged to attend.

An airport spokesman said: "This is an exciting chapter in the growth of the airport and we are keen to ensure the prosperity the airport brings to the Leeds City Region in terms of jobs, business development and tourism is done with the support of local communities and the local authorities."
