HUNDREDS of people enjoyed a wonderful night of celebration on The Grove in Ilkley on Saturday when they attended the Ilkley Town Council-organised Concert on The Grove.
The annual event - which has been proving popular in the town for the last 15 years - saw concert-goers singing along to all the Last Night at the Proms favourites such as Jerusalem and Land of Hope and Glory. Flags and song sheets were available to all who bought tickets.
The concert featured Royal Academy Soprano Pheobe Smith, flamenco guitarist Samuel Moore, folk group Fox Corner and Bradford Academy singers Dominique Fleming and Kristen Gregory as well as The Marsden Silver Prize Band.
The event was organised by town and district councillor Mike Gibbons.
