A THREE day flower festival will be held at Otley Parish Church this month.
Who Put the Colours in the Rainbow? follows last year's festival which, based on the theme All Things Bright and Beautiful, raised £1,000 for charity.
The 2018 event runs from Friday, June 29 until Sunday, July 1 and will feature arrangements by local residents, businesses and churches.
Free to enter - with donations welcomed - the festival will be open from 10am to 4pm on the first two days and from noon to 4pm on the Sunday.
It will be preceded by a 7pm to 9pm preview evening on Thursday, June 28.
Tickets for the preview cost £5 which includes a glass of wine or soft drink and canapes, plus live music, and can be purchased by calling (01943) 465927, e-mail info@otleyparishchurch.org .
All of the local primary schools, along with the 3rd Otley Brownies and children from the church’s Sunday Club, will also be taking part this year.
The children are filling seed trays with objects of their choice that will be displayed as a rainbow-coloured carpet in the church.
Tea, coffee and light refreshments, along with a plant stall, will be available over the festival's three days.
All profits will be donated to the church’s Local to Global Group, whose chosen charities for this year are Caring for Life (a local Christian charity based at Cragg House Farm, Cookridge) and Kisiizi Hospital, in Uganda.
