POLICE are investigating three burglaries that took place in Bramhope over Easter.
All of the incidents happened during the early hours of Easter Monday, April 2.
The most serious took place at about 2am when suspects forced the door lock of a property on Creskeld Lane.
Car keys were among the items stolen by the intruders, who left in the residents' car after being disturbed.
The vehicle was found shortly afterwards at Yeadon, where it had been crashed into a tree.
Another break-in on the same night took place on Parklands Crescent where suspects snapped a euro profile door lock.
They were disturbed by a guard dog, whose barking woke the household, and fled without getting inside.
The final incident happened on Creskeld Gardens between 1.20am and 1.30am on April 2.
The suspects on that occasion had tried to force open a door lock but were also disturbed and left without gaining entry.
