TWO local funeral directors are collecting Easter Eggs for local disadvantaged children.
Staff at H. Eaton & Son, of Ilkley and Good's of Otley are asking local businesses, community groups and residents to donate Easter Eggs so that they can bring a smile to the faces of children at Easter.
Both branches are part of Dignity who launched the Easter Egg Challenge in 2002.
Funeral manager, James Mahony, said: “We hope that the local community will support us and help to make Easter an enjoyable time for these children. Last year Dignity staff collected thousands of Easter Eggs for children across the country and we would like to have the opportunity to do the same for the children in this area.”
If you would like to donate an Easter Egg call the following branches to arrange a collection or you can drop your gift in to one of our branches between 9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday: H. Eaton & Son, Ashlands Chapel of Rest, Ilkley, 01943 607360 and Good's Funeral Service, 12 Boroughgate, Otley, 01943 462646.
