A SERIES of Sunday workshops for the over 65s is about to start in Otley.

Run by the All Good Things Community Food Project, the 1pm to 4pm sessions will begin at Clitherow House, off Manor Square, on Sunday, March 10.

They will include gentle mobility classes, a two course lunch with a food parcel to take home, and music and art activities including hand castings.

Running through to July, the workshops cost £10 each.

The programme is being funded by a Solutions for an Ageing Society Do It Award with support from Leeds Community Foundation, UnLtd and the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation.

Future sessions will be held on April 8, May 13, June 10 and July 8.

Participants are welcome to attend individual workshops but All Good Things says those attending all five will reap the greatest benefits.
