THE FIRST in a series of new children's books has been launched at Harrogate Flower Show next week.
The Growers, designed for grandparents to share with their grandchildren, has been written by Timble-based author David Bell.
The story, illustrated by Nici Gregory, starts with main characters Jess and Jack being dropped off at Granny and Grandad Grower's house by their parents.
Featuring a cast of animals and wildlife, the book shows how the green-fingered grandparents use nature to help their grandchildren understand the world around them.
It also includes an RHS Perfect for Pollinators approved wildflower seed paper to plant.
The Growers is available now at Harrogate Flower Show, which runs until Sunday, April 23 and will also be sold by a number of national retailers.
