FOLK rock pioneers Steeleye Span are in concert in Ilkley next month.
A legendary name in British music, these folk rock pioneers are bringing their new live show to King’s Hall, Ilkley on Tuesday, October 18.
Maddy Prior - the voice of the band - leads a line-up featuring faces old and new. 2014 saw Steeleye Span emerging on a new and exciting chapter with the band introducing the vibrant and very talented Jessie May Smart. In this same year they released a deluxe version of their album Wintersmith in collaboration with Sir Terry Pratchett, with an extra CD including four new studio tracks. A record that not only delighted long-time fans, but also introduced them to a new audience and broke new creative ground.
Steeleye Span look forward to continuing this story throughout 2016 where audiences will see them perform new gems alongside the classics that have made them one of the most successful British Folk Rock bands ever.
Tickets for this concert on Tuesday, October 18, doors 7.30pm are available from Bradford Theatres Box Office (£23) on 01274 432000 or visit bradford-theatres.co.uk.
