IT IS now recognised singing fortifies health, widens culture, refines the intelligence, enriches the imagination, makes for happiness and endows life with an added zest.

Members of The Wharfedale Male Voice Choir already know this, but they are offering these very same benefits to all newly retired and prospective members.

Singing with the choir offers physical, emotional and social benefits to its members by boosting immune systems, increasing self-esteem and confidence and it brings people together.

Wharfedale Male Voice Choir would like to appeal men who are seeking a forum for genuine enjoyment, to join them each Monday afternoon from 2pm to 4pm at the Eric Lefevre Church Hall, Burley-in-Wharfedale from September 12 onwards.

For further information ring chairman Terry Williams on 01943 466806 or visit www.WharfedaleMVC.wordpress.com.

No previous experience is required, and although the ability to read music is useful, it is not a prerequisite.
