OTLEY in Bloom members are in optimistic mood following a visit by Yorkshire in Bloom judges.
The Summer Judging took place last week, when the judges were shown around Gallows Hill, Todd's Allotments, Wharfemeadows Park, Ellar Ghyll recycling site and the town centre.
Otley in Bloom's Yorkshire in Bloom Co-ordinator David Bellerby said: "The day went very well.
"The sun shone, the town looked excellent and the judges seemed impressed and were complimentary.
"We now hope for the best when the results are revealed at the Yorkshire in Bloom Awards ceremony in York on Tuesday, September 13."
Otley earned a Gold Award from Yorkshire in Bloom in 2015, for the second year in a row.
