A Rawdon schoolgirl is making her mark after becoming the country's top English student.
Sixth former Emily Darley was also among the top ten in the country for dual award science and was one of only 12 students to gain 100 per cent in her Spanish exam.
Emily, a student at Benton Park, was awarded a £250 prize by the AQA examining board for being the top student in English, and was invited to the Spanish Embassy to collect a prize.
