A subterranean adventure is being launched in Yeadon with the opening of a new indoor cave.
Visitors will be invited to find their way through a maze of stalactites and stalagmites in search of hidden fossils in the multi-layered cave at Leeds Sailing and Activity Centre.
The centre, at Yeadon Tarn, will launch the new attractions with a free open day on Wednesday, December 11. The day is open to children, adults, teachers and carers, who all need to book first. The cave will also be available for groups and individuals from January.
The cave is described as clean, safe and fun for all ages from eight years upwards and for all abilities. Trolleys are available for disabled access.
Sessions, for up to eight people, are led by a qualified instructor and last for about one hour. The indoor cave will be open all year round.
Sessions cost £53.40 for up to eight people, and must be booked. All safety equipment is provided.
