The 1875 Anglo Indian Restaurant in Menston has announced that Vivek Singh Kashiwale will be joining the restaurant.
The restaurant which is based on the first floor in Menston train station, has brought on board the former Bird By Vineet head chef in a consultant and head chef role.
He was born in India, trained as a chef there and started his career at the Deluxe Hotels in India. He came to the UK and worked for the Harlequin Group before moving to the Bird By Vineet, where he spent five years working for its Michelin-starred owner Vineet Bhatia.
He said: “I am excited to be spending some time at The 1875 Restaurant. It has a great concept, it is family owned and run and I really feel I can make a difference. I am also looking potentially to set up my own restaurant in the region.”
