People in Bramhope are being invited to show true Christmas spirit by giving toys to children who have nothing.
St Giles Church has been running an annual toy service for six years and will hold one again on Sunday, December 9.
People are being asked to donate toys in a good condition at the service, which starts at 9.30am.
All the toys will be passed on to Leeds Social Services to be donated to needy children.
Vicar the Rev Janice Smith appealed to local people to give generously.
“The children who get these toys have absolutely nothing,” she said.
Toys can be new or second hand but should be clean and in good condition. They should not be wrapped.
