AN APPROPRIATE reminder of the Blitz spirit will be presented in a riotous new comedy in Colwyn Bay.

NT LIVE's Jack Absolute Flies Again is still set to screen at Theatr Colwyn this summer.

The National Theatre aims to bring shows back to the stage from Monday, August 31 2020 which will mean Jack Absolute Flies Again can go ahead.

From the writer of One Man, Two Guvnors this hilarious new play, set in 1940s British summertime brings Caroline Quentin and Richard Fleeshman together for a joyous farce staged to mark the 80th anniversary of the battle of Britain.

After an aerial dog fight, Pilot Officer Jack Absolute flies home to rejoin his fearless young Hurricane squadron at RAF Fontwell.

Once back on British soil, Jack is shocked to find his old flame, Lydia, on the base.

He sets his sights on winning her heart, but with turbulence and hilarity never far away, his advances quickly turn to anarchy.
