YEADON Theatre Company’s 90th anniversary production of Oklahoma will be staged next week.

Organisers say the credentials of the lead roles read like those of a west end show.

Lizzie Wlodarczyk has performed in the Royal Albert Hall, conducted the Preston Show Choir in Russell Watsons 2016 tour and appeared in a Coldplay music video. Chris Mooney, who plays Curley, has played Judas in Jesus Christ Superstar, Chuck in Footloose and Che in Evita. Lucy Evans, who plays Annie is a former winner of the Harrogate Festival of Speech and Drama and her recent credits include Footloose, Bad Girls, Whistle Down the Wind, and Grease.

One of the rising stars of the show is teenager Henry Etherington. Henry is an experienced singer having sung with Opera North’s Youth Company for ten year in shows across Europe, including two performances with Barry Manilow. He has enjoyed principal roles as Tobias in Sweeney Todd, Thenardier in Les Miserables, and Benoit in La Boheme.
