YEADON Town Hall has announced a packed programme of events ranging from Macbeth to Showaddywaddy in February.

The venue will also be holding its first ever beer festival this year.

The town hall will welcome The Aireborough Gilbert And Sullivan Society from Thursday, February 6 to Saturday, February, 8. The society will perform The Magic of Gilbert and Sullivan, a “glorious gallop” through Iolanthe and Ruddigore. The production will explore the magic and mystery contained in the two shows.

One of the UK’s oldest and best brass bands, Black Dyke Band, will provide the entertainment on Sunday, February 9.

A spokeswoman for the town hall said: “This unusual Sunday afternoon performance is the ideal day out for music lovers, as audiences are invited to sit back and relax listening to the enjoyable instrumental music.”

The Dickens Theatre Company presents Macbeth on Wednesday, February 12. The fast-paced adaptation of one of Shakespeare’s masterpieces is perfect for those studying the piece or lovers of literature. With themes of ambition, power and revenge, this dynamic production captivates to the bitter end.

On Friday, February 14 legendary pop group Showaddywady will appear - performing their heyday hits such as Hey Rock ‘n’ Roll as well as album tracks and new songs.

Direct from the West End and now heading to Yeadon on Saturday, February 15 is Showstopper! The Improvised Musical. A brand new musical comedy is created on the spot based entirely on audience suggestions.

Finishing February in style is Yeadon Town Hall’s very first Beer Festival. Tickets cost £10 and include four beer tokens, a programme and free glass.
