THE cast of Aireborough Gilbert and Sullivan Society are pictured taking a break from rehearsing their forthcoming production The Magic of Gilbert and Sullivan featuring Iolanthe and Ruddigore.
This show embraces the Society’s reputation for excellent music but has updated the storyline of the two Gilbert and Sullivan operettas.
It is hoped this will appeal to both lovers and those new to Gilbert and Sullivan.
This year the society have chosen Martin House Children’s Hospice as their chosen charity and there will be a bucket collection for this very worthy cause at each performance.
The Magic of Gilbert and Sullivan takes place at Yeadon Town Hall on Thursday February 6th and Friday, February 7 at 7.30pm and Saturday, February 8th February at 2.30pm .
