REHEARSALS are now in full swing again following the festive break, for Menston Thespians annual Pantomime on from Thursday, February 13 to Saturday, February 15th at Kirklands Community Centre, Menston (7.15pm and matinee 2pm on Saturday).

This year it is a new and different pantomime written by Ben Crocker, entitled Treasure Island.

It has all the fun, music dancing and slapstick of a usual pantomime with the exciting difference of Pirates and the Women’s Institute.

Marjorie Inman, publicity officer for Menston Thespians said: “There are a few new faces including a Dame- Matt Hardin - new to Menston, together with some unusual parts being taken by a few of our regular performers. Watch this space.

“As always our junior members are at their very best, nearly all from the Menston area, many taking speaking parts this year for the first time.

“Tickets are going well, particularly our Matinee performance on the Saturday at 2pm, and these can be booked both on line via our website menstonthespians.co.uk/tickets and by telephone or 01943 872016.”
