YEADON Town Hall is staging a “fantastic festive season”, with a number of shows and events lined-up in December.

The town’s Lights Switch On took place on Sunday and coincided with Yeadon Charities Association’s annual Christmas Fayre.

The poignant Tree of Lights Carol Concert will take place on December 9. People are being invited to dedicate a light on a Christmas tree at Yeadon Town Hall to someone special or to the memory of a loved one.

Yeadon Theatre Company will return to the Town Hall stage on December 13 to present a Christmas Concert which will include a selection of festive favourites.

There are also a range of shows and live music gigs happening throughout December.

Roy Wood brings his Christmas Rock-tacular to the stage on December 4. The audience is being told to expect a live version of I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday, along with other hits.

Stage veteran Perry Grant is coming all the way from the USA to perform classic songs and Christmassy hits on December 7.

A spokeswoman said: “Audiences may know him for his legendary cruise ship performances and the team can’t wait to welcome him to Yeadon.”

The Rat Pack Christmas Show will take place on December 11, celebrating the music of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis J - with special guest Charley Toulan as Marilyn Monroe.

Take That tribute act Rule The World will perform on December 14.

Wild Boys - billed as “the ultimate 80s party night” returns to Yeadon Town Hall on December 15.
